Friends of Faith, Inc. has intimately touched the lives of over 400 people... through Training and providing Support in Times of Need!
Choices Trainees had the opportunity to learn the difference between Choices, reactions, and decisions. Making a CHOICE is a right! Choices give you power and opportunity. The average person makes over 35,000 choices a day! We have to make a CHOICE before a decision or reaction even comes into play. We have to choose to live a life of Peace over War, Love over Hate, Hope over Fear, and Trust over Deception. Trainees thought about and discussed some of their thoughts, habits, and behaviors that have limited their POWER to make a choice. Our CHOICES determine our destiny! Trainees left this trainings READY to make GOOD CHOICES and equipped with seven (7) steps needed to make GOOD Choices.
Dreams, Vision, & Manifestation Trainees created vision boards to help the trainee realize the importance of having dreams, creating a vision, and the effort it takes for one's dream to become a reality. Trainees learned how important it is to stay in a positive environment, how what we speak becomes our belief and we live what we believe.
Finish Strong Trainees reflected on their WHY rather than their WHAT as a means to fulfilling their destiny in life. Trainees developed personal mission statements and learned how important it is for them to remove pride, bitterness, envy, and jealousy from their lives to pursue their passion, purpose, and dream!
Invest in You Trainees learned the importance of investing in themselves through; use of their gifts and talents to start a business, pursuing higher education, being healthy and exercising, resting without guilt, having a healthy environment and more!
Let Your Light Shine Trainees had the opportunity to exam what could be holding them back from fulfilling their purpose. Is Guilt, Fear, Doubt, Shame, A Bad Break-Up, Unforgiveness, Procrastination, or Negative Words of Others stopping us from fulfilling our purpose? Trainees learned despite past experiences and challenges we must "let our lights shine". Who we are, our purpose, is needed in the world! Trainees learned how to heal from the past and move on to a brighter future; allowing their lights to shine. Our lights are our purpose, our personality, the way we treat ALL people, and showing love without shame, bitterness, and unforgiveness... Trainees also learned how to shine in dark places (within the world and their life). Living Your Purpose Trainees had the opportunity to reflect on their purpose. What is your purpose? FACT: Our purpose is a part of us even before we are born, however sometimes family, friends, and our environment affect the development of our purpose. Trainees learned to reconnect with their purpose and that living our purpose is free from competition, intimidation, though it requires us to overcome fear. Trainees did a craft...turned a T-shirt into a purse; our true purpose may not be what it looks like or what other have told us.
True Love Trainees learned the difference between LOVE and LUST; this specific point proved itself powerful to the girls (13+) in attendance. Trainees also had the opportunity to learn about the way(s) they receive / perceive love given to them. Trainees learned verbal and physical abuse is NOT ok !
Virtue in Our Homes & Community Trainees learned how important they are to their homes and community. They learned that by ensuring their home is a home of virtue; one with high moral standards, they could positively affect the community around them and everywhere they go! Trainees were educated on ALL Protective Factors.
Wives & Wives-to-Be ~ Part I Trainees assessed, "Why they were married or Why did they want to get married?"... guest learned about the "real" commitment marriage requires and what true submission requires. Trainees learned that true commitment is more than a kiss, sex, and a ring!
Wives & Wives-to-Be ~ Part II Trainees assessed, "Waiting to get married AND dealing with difficult moments in marriage"... trainees learned marriage and waiting to me married can be like "a caterpillar transforming into a beautiful butterfly".
